Daughters of Wisdom, US Delegation

We, the Daughters of Wisdom, stand firm in our mission to “to seek and contemplate Divine Wisdom in a world that hungers for meaning, justice, and compassion. … to bring the message of Jesus, Incarnate Wisdom, to people experiencing injustice, violence, poverty, and oppression, especially women and children.” And in so doing, we denounce all forms of racism and inequality. We stand with the Leadership Conference of Women Religious in committing ourselves to the critical work of examining the root causes of injustice and our complicity and purging ourselves, our communities, and our country of the sin of racism and its destructive effect. We pledge to work to effect systemic change to ensure immigrant rights, promote non-violence, and protect the Earth and its biosphere.
